Gluttons for punishment

We planted several dozen baby tree seedlings last year, but only a handful survived. We pretty much blame not planting them immediately and not watering them enough early on and in the heat of the summer.

But we are relentless in our pursuit of having a little mini Christmas tree area to cull from 15 years from now - if we are still around, and if not for the kids.

So we planted new seedlings (the day we picked them up from the local conservation district) and have committed to daily water wagons. Bets are being placed now on the survival rates.
