Snow on the mountain!

Just as the end of snow on Mt. Spokane in early May signals the start of gardening season, its arrival in late fall is equally exciting, because it means soon the white stuff will appear down here, too!

Beautiful afternoon light shining on the hills this evening, after a pretty blah and chilly and sunless Sunday.

After taking those pics from the back deck, I sat back down to continue work on my newest puzzle. Only 5 minutes later I looked up, and the colors of the sky had completely changed. So I got up again to take a few more shots to capture the change from golden to pink. What a difference a few minutes makes!
