Preparing for an aurora borealis

Right after we moved to Green Bluff we got to see the Northern Lights - it was quite by accident - we just happened to see that something looked a little strange out there, and sure enough, the sky was shimmering green!

Since then we have been following the aurora magnetic paths (thanks to a handy phone app). Unfortunately, any other night that had high likelihood of being able to see the lights ended up being cloudy or overcast.

But apparently tonight is the night! Fingers crossed for a good viewing!

Just waiting for the sun to finish setting!
