One step closer to completing the library

The new Roman shades for the library windows are all installed, which means one more item checked off the decorating list!

Initially I was going to leave all of the windows in this house uncovered/untreated. But these lined faux shades in my custom fabric add just a little pop of color in this colorful room.

A nice picture that reminds me why I love working out of this room with a view.

Remaining items on this room’s to-do list: Replacing the ceiling fixture (already purchased, just waiting on a few glass shades) and possibly bringing down one more bookshelf to complete the set. However, even with another bookcase, I’m afraid my book collection has again grown out of control. We really need Steve to retire so he can get to work selling off all of our excess books!
