Cutting through Nebraska

Before we were even married, Steve played up the pioneering significance of the landmark Chimney Rock. Its less-than-impressive reality became the brunt of jokes for 40 years. But when our scenic route to Nashville came within a half-mile, we knew we had to stop for a photo op.

P.S. Maybe it’s not QUITE as lame as I remember.

Of course we also had to partake in our beloved runzas while in the state.

Nebraska also sent us on our way with this awesome sunset rainbow.

And through it all, the dogs have been amazing travel partners in the back of the rented minivan.
