The big $1 purchase
That Lukas Clan never disappoints. And Uncle Steve is definitely one of our favorites of the Lukas siblings. That generous man “sold” Steve his Harley Davidson motorcycle with the custom sidecar for one dollar. We had a beautiful few days with Steve and his partner Rosie in their gorgeous “cabin” on Lake Superior. They are definitely living the dream up there in their 16 acre eden on the big lake (monsterous mosquitos aside). And it was also kind of fitting, because we actually had our honeymoon at Uncle Steve’s OLD lake cabin (THAT one was an actual cabin, and that lake was an actual SMALL Minnesota lake) and Tuesday is our 36th anniversary!

Loading it on the new trailer - 7 feet wide is the perfect size to accomodate the sidecar. This is the garage/guest suite, custom built to match the architecture of the house outside and in.
The house, gardens, gravel beach, and about a dozen little sitting areas are all right on Lake Superior. Gorgeous!
The deed is done!
