Montana holds down the animal fort

While I was galivanting around northern Florida, Montana stepped up and took on all of the outdoor animal chores, one of her happy places!

And of course that also includes using her super-photography skills to catch some unique animal pictures. Below are some of her shots of the chicken coop lit up with red heat lamp light.

The left-hand roosts are extra popular tonight.

These two charcoal gray Cochins are among my favorites from last summer’s batch.

This little gal loves to sleep on top of the inner door. She roosts early to claim this coveted spot.

Love this close-up of the super-scary owl we installed to intimidate the hawks; in other words, it’s our outdoor art installation. Love the little pile of snow on its head.
