Merry Christmas 🎄🎁

Our leisurely Christmas Day started with noshing on orange rolls, reading our new books by the fire, then progressed to a little Mahjong and football. The family voted to watch a movie at home rather than our traditional go-out, which was fine with me because it allowed me to wear my new red gingham nightgown all day without changing, quite the Christmas treat!

But the REAL treat was Steve out-doing himself, exceeding his already quite high cooking bar, by preparing what was undoubtedly the best prime rib of our lives! I’d say the chef has earned a few days off after spoiling us all holiday.
