Chickens up close and personal

Snowy day means lots of hens hanging out in the coop. Here are a few close-up shots using my new camera.

Plenty of nesting boxes, but they still like to lay eggs on the floor below the boxes. I wonder what they will do later when we add ducks, because this is the very spot where the duck nesting boxes will be (ducks like to sleep down low, on the floor.)
